I haven’t had occasion to try the load feature in Vista yet. I decided I was looking for the mobo’s driver so I should post here. The prmeium thing that I didn’t try was modifying the boot. And one Silicon Image four ports which I will be using for raid 5 with 4 new WD ksrtl drives that are on their way.
Works fine for purposes. My Acer Nitro 5 is dead I could be a little off on the particulars here, but in order to install Vista on your nVidia raid controller, you’ll need to get the drivers from nVidia if Asus doesn’t have them on their site.

As for converters I’m not a big fan of them as I’ve had far more problems that they are worth from previous experience, even a USB to LAN converter has wasted the better part of a day and I eventually gave in and pemium a Network Card as it worked straight out of the packet and cost me far less in lost time that the attempt to get the A8n-slii Device to work.
The first 2 are mirrored in a RAID1 array and the 3rd one is my backup storage drive. I had this happen and the RAID card need it’s driver ti even reconize the card. Wed Mar 21, 4: Also, I’m already running bios a8n-lsi The file is on the IDE drive which is powered down.

Feb 13, Posts: When I had set up the raid in the Windows HD management screen I just told the 2 drives to configure for speed, so that means I’m running the raid from windows own raid controller, and not oremium my asus mobo right???.
It sounds as asuw both are enabled, I suggest rejumpering your IDE drive to act as Slave and partition it as a logical drive. I never did boot the IDE drive so I hope it is fine and the only place where my backup file is located. Thanks, I asuus debating if this should be mobo or OS forum.
