heic I would suggest you uninstall and reinstall the latest version of Intel chipset drivers and Intel Matrix Storage Manager. I have the same issue. When I do a Google search I do find others reporting the same thing with no solution. I’m running Windows XP and have the latest updates.
Should I install more up-to-date drivers from Intel? How come MS is suggesting possible fixes but I have never heard anybody explain what the underlying problem is? Tried uninstalling and reinstalling LMS driver with no luck. No change whatsoever as I am still receiving the same Event ID.

I recently purchased a Gateway NVu brand new notebook. Please let me know if you can think of anything else or if you are able to provide a link to newer intel drivers that I should use. As the notebook is brand new, you can also contact the computer manufacturer for further assistance or for a replacement.
